Warner Animation hasn't confirmed it in a press release yet, but World's Finest has discovered and can confirm that the DC Universe line of animated DTV movies will start to include animated shorts in 2010. It looks like each DTV movie will include one animated short, and the shorts will likely then be released in a compilation release of their own at a later date, possibly with additional material. The first short will feature Jonah Hex and is written by Joe R. Lansdale (not surpising since the live action Jonah Hex feature film is coming out in summer 2010).
This is an excellent addition to the DC Universe line as it'll allow for characters who likely won't get a movie of their own to get a chance to shine at least in a short.
