A neat little thing would be to find out that alt verse built their shuttle on schedule and thus was able to save Skylab. Tho beyond scope of the show.

That would be cool!!!

Oh in Walternate's 80's office I think there were some pictures of what could be termed an 80's version of the DC-X and Venture Star shuttles!!!!!!

I think it would be cool to make an episode that shows WHEN the two univereses diverged. It would be cool to see a 1930's Fringe Opening Sequence and write the episode blaming the divergence on Nikola Tesla and some wonky machine me makes, maybe in this universe the millitary buys his "death ray".

Fringe 1930's title sequence in B&W Movie theatre short style!

Supersonic Flight
Rocketry
Atomic Reactors
Vaccines
Radar
Electronic Computers
Antibiotics
Ciphers
Cyclotrons

etc....

I'm guessing they didn't have a Hindenburg disaster over there, hence the continuance of airships.

There are so many SMALL Eggs throughout the episode but here is one of the best shots for multiple. It looks better on TV.

There are 2 question marks on the wall and two crosswords.

The White on Black Crossword Reads:

C A N A B I S
I A T I T Y P
S Y R A J L I
A A L O I I A
E N Y L L W F
L O N G I I A
A I K O O C H
B A N A N A S

I found:

Canabis (missing an N)
Bananas
Long

On a funny note:
Tity
Kooch

The Black on white with letters in boxes reads:

T C M E R I
S M I R C T
J T Y Y E S
M R Y Y MM
S E R I MM
C M T C S E

Found:

Icy
Mires
Yes
Sty

Funny:
CMT (Country Music Television)
TCM (Turner Classic Movies)

To the right of the Black on white the numbers are:

6 4 12 9 9 4

These are inside circles with unreadable symbols inside

White on Black Number problem reads:

1921
1315
2021
235
?

and on the far right the only readable thing is:

34 30 36 32
28 44 40 38
38 32 ? 34
26 42 36 40

Walternate knows young olivia because when she switches over while talking to Walter Prime, Walternate addresses her as olive and asks what is wrong (making me wonder what Walter Prime was thinking when Olivia Poofed into thin air.)

The following scene shows that he cares for her deeply and wants no harm to come to her. (or any child due to the recent abduction of his son and his previous statement to the cool science guy at MD of "NO CHILDREN!")

oh and the approximate date of the episode is April 1st 1985

Finally got around to watching this episode.

Am I the only one who thought that the blurry effect was done to make Walter look younger? You know, use that X-Men 3 effect they used on the two Sirs, but the side effect is a slight blurring, so to keep things consistent, just put that effect everywhere?

That photo up a few posts is a bit too big. Screwing my viewing of the thread, but I see why you wanted it visible.

I thought the kid actors were actually doing a decent job of catching the mannerisms of Torv and Jackson. Odd that neither remembers meeting, unless Walter was responsible. That Olivia was responsible for Walternate knowing of “our” world? Wow! Peter’s meeting Olivia and learning of her stepfather’s actions was what made him accept Walter and Elizabeth(?) as his parents? Interesting. And that Walter was trying to return him all along, and that was why he was doing the experiments on the kids? It’d be nice if Peter knew this at some point.

I think the episode may have made things too incestuous if you get what I mean. The world has become smaller instead of larger.
