Someone is killing people and draining their spinal cord fluid. Olivia, Peter, and Walter go to great lengths to stop the deaths, which are happening more and more frequently.

Ha Clint Howard(Ron Howard's brother) was just on "Heroes" a few weeks ago. He was killed by Sylar who plays Spock in the new "Star Trek" movie.

NOW

Next week's "Fringe" has Clint Howard as a character who refers to himself as "Surak" father of Spock

Above Average

I'm feeling generous today which is why I gave this episode an Above Average. It was another standard MOTW storyline with hardly any surprising twists. I also thought that there should have been a bit more Walter humour. But I was entertained, and that's all I should hope for these days. Next week's episode looks awesome.

Good episode. Not great. Not bad at all. Enjoyable television overall which is more than I can say for the other 99% of crap that's on TV nowadays.

I'd say my enjoyment levels this year are as follows:

Lost : 8.7/10
24 : 7.9/10
Frine : 7.2/10
DollHouse : 6.9/10

'twas a good one. I loved how Olivia was desperately trying to stay cool when her sister called. Next week is looking awesome.

Above Average - Solid stuff as usual. And they really have gotten the whole group dynamic going rather well - Each character contributed.

Can't wait until next week...

Another uninteresting episode. She's a vampire and has to pick up guys in bars! Now THAT'S art! And OMG! Spock is behind ZFT! I never would have suspected that! What a shocker! Hopefully the finale will be kick ass.

I love how no one commented on the fact that she somehow grew more teeth. How could an antidote remove TEETH?

I liked Peter in the Club, "I am looking for someone hot, I am looking for someone with Syphilis"

Worst..... Pickup Line ........ EVER!!! LOL

Is this show worth watching? I stopped watching after a few episodes because it felt like it was turning into another "X Files" with some convoluted govt interference with aliens storyline.

HA! I heard that from many people who didn't really watch the show, that it was just an X-Files ripoff.

X-Files wishes it was this show, for real. Things are being tied together already, there's a focus to the mythology and a momentum you can feel. And I LOVE where the main story is going. No aliens at all, much much more creative. At least *I* think. :)

I don't expect any of the science to make any sense, but they've been consistent about that and even tipped us off by literally having a mad scientist as a main character.:)

I've enjoyed it from the start although it has ripped off the X-Files a bit but it seems to be past that stage now and is making itself something unique. Personally, I don't see it being a better show than the X-Files as XF brought up ideas and asked questions that were damn intriguing. The show wasn't really about aliens at all but about something much, much more. It's really an amazing show and I can't see Fringe besting it.

So far Fringe, while damn good, isn't actually *about* anything yet.

I thought it was an excellent episode. This series is a slow burn that is getting hotter each episode. The various storylines are being revealing as all intertwined and they are doing in a manner that the X'files could only dream to aspire to.

Plus Balok is one next week spouting Trek references. Silly goodness.
