Interesting. Looks like Peter just had a flashback to right around the time he was taken.

I wonder when they'll finally have him learn the truth.

If I interpreted the preview correctly, we won't have any new eps now until November.

I hope the next one's better. I honestly thought this was the weakest entry so far this season. I think they need to steer the stories back to dealing with the Big Picture - that of the alternate universe.

I rather enjoyed this episode although I was a little distracted during it by other things going on. The ending was particularly good.

Normal people become killers. No digital devices used this time.

In November, people disintegrate...some guy with a black hole for a shadow? Maybe? :shifty:

Lately I could really use a bowling alley guy to help me sort some stuff out, it's been a real bitch having to do it all myself.

Did it involve psychotropic drugs? :)

Well that was rather X-Filish. You know there are shapeshifters and mad scientists running around to kick start an impending war from a parallel universe, so you take a side trip to find a freak of the week?

On a side note, Kirk Acevedo is still in the opening credits.

Both. She's insanely cute, but she really is quite talented. She can convey more with her eyes than a lot of folks can by talking.

When you have to act opposite Tom Welling, Justin Hartley and Erica Durance, you could pass gas and convey more than anyone else around you. :p

Yeah, this episode was fine, but it was pretty lame for them to just shrug off the urgency of last week's story in favor of another one of these 'stand alone' episodes. This and the mutant-boy episode from this season have to be the two weakest. The episode with the exploding people was only saved from joining them at the last minute, with the revelation that the whole thing involved the Observer.

I'm honestly surprised that they chose to take a break on THIS episode, considering last week's would have been a perfect place to go on break. Although I would have been more pissed to wait 3-4 weeks to get tonight's episode, which doesn't tie into the main arc at all. At least they had some time to show Olivia's grief at Charlie's death.

Also, that plot summary thing at the beginning is hilarious, because Broyles spends all of 30 seconds meeting with Nina. It was the shortest conversation ever.

They're still just hinting at the whole 'Peter is from the other universe' subplot, but that's all.

I made it a priority to watch the Office too since this was a FOTW episode. I'll give my thoughts later tomorrow.

Yes, she does have her work cut out for her, doesn't she?

Side note: I too, noticed that Charlie was still listed in the opening credits. Interesting.

So is alternate Bishop going to turn out to be the big bad or at least working with the big bad, I someone kidnapped my son i sure would be pissed.

Maybe a spoiler about...

In a TV Guide interview with a couple producers of Fringe, one of them mentioned he had just left a set where Kirk Acevedo was filming, and TV Guide pointed out that the show was working on episodes 8 and 9 at the time. Could be a flashback or something going on inside Olivia's head, but it could also be Scar Charlie.
