For those that get the Science channel they will be showing Fringe on November 20th.

Re: Fringe 5x06 - "Through the Looking Glass and What Walter Found The

My wife just brought up a very good point: If the words spelled out by the glyphs pertain to the next episode, then what will they pertain to in the final ep?

We don't get that here. I plan to fill the void by watching the rest of our Season 4 DVDs.

To my two fellow participants, I thank you. Looking forward to doing this again in just seven days.

Until then, have a good week.

Don't have the DVDs. Hopefully, they will come out with the whole series.

Anyone else think Olivia's "Monorail!" line was a reference to that Simpsons episode with Leonard Nimoy?

Re: Fringe 5x06 - "Through the Looking Glass and What Walter Found The

I liked this episode a lot. Very cool being inside the pocket universe and Walter being aware he's turning into his evil self.

Re: Fringe 5x06 - "Through the Looking Glass and What Walter Found The

Listening to Walter's instructions about what steps to take, all I can think of is...

"Let's do the time-warp again!"

I was thinking eactly the same thing....

Strange.

Those markings on the door seem oddly familiar.

And who the bloody hell is filming Walter and the Observer-Kid?

Can't see the dots so not sure if those glyphs on the doors spelled anything.

The next glyph is L.

Is this the first time the glyphs have been atually referenced WITHIN the show? Who made them up?

I believe at the end of the pilot episode we saw one of the Glyphs as a touch panel to a lab at Massive Dynamic.

No kidding? I don't remember that. You realize that you're making me pull out my Season 1 DVDs just to check this out.

I'm glad to see that others enjoyed this ep as well. I really, really hope this is all leading to something stupendous in the end.

Yes, they were taking Mark's body into a lab. I seem to remember that it was a leaf glyph, don't remember where the dot was.

Samurai, that vid is both funny and a little scary, considering where the character seems to be heading. Any idea when that was put together?

Re: Fringe 5x06 - "Through the Looking Glass and What Walter Found The

Entertaining I guess, but I'm getting tired of this being the Peter show with Olivia as no more important a character than Astrid. All she's been doing is standing around, sitting around, being sad, shooting people, and then asking Peter how he feels.

Re: Fringe 5x06 - "Through the Looking Glass and What Walter Found The

I like Olivia quite a bit, but I like Peter better, so that doesn't bother me at all.
As for the episode, I really enjoyed it. The stuff in the pocket universe was cool, and we got some interesting developments for Peter and Walter.
I voted Excellent.

Right--she should get in the kitchen and rustle up some grub or something!

*flees*

Re: Fringe 5x06 - "Through the Looking Glass and What Walter Found The

Excellent episode. I really liked the pocket universe. Reminded me of that TZ episode Little Girl Lost. Peter's storyline is fascinating although I agree that Olivia is getting the short stick.

Did my ears deceive me or did Peter actually call Walter Dad at the end? Another stellar performance by John Bishop.

Re: Fringe 5x06 - "Through the Looking Glass and What Walter Found The

Another stellar performance by John Bishop.

John Bishop? Who's that guy?

BTW, I agree, John NOBLE put in a truly great performance. The man is incomparable. It's a frakkin' crime that he hasn't won an Emmy for the past four years.

Re: Fringe 5x06 - "Through the Looking Glass and What Walter Found The

^Agreed. Has he been nominated even?
