While Peter and Olivia investigate murders involving an inexplicable toxin, Astrid and her Other Side counterpart meet for the first time.

This should officially put us at the half-way point of the season, assuming that we'll get 22 one hour eps, or if they combine the final two into a two-hour show. Should be fun to watch the relatively 'normal' Astrid interact with the 'Rainman' Astrid.

It seems as if they're trying to move the show back to the original feel of Season 1, but set in this new reality with Peter now fitting into the team scenario. I really hope that this isn't the way the rest of the season goes, and that he gets back home in the last fifteen minutes of the finale.

"Walter, you'll never guess where I've been for the last 20 or so weeks!"

I posted this on last week's episode thread but it deserves to be here where most Fringies will find it:

Fringe will be off for the first 3 weeks in March. When it returns the final 8 episodes will air uninterrupted (Fox is also doing this with House).

Bummer it'll be off for three weeks but it'll be nice to have 8 episodes to end the season (hopefully not the series).

OK, if I do the math on that right, then it should add up to 22 episodes. I suppose the big question really is whether or not the finale will be two hours long, if indeed this is to be the final season.

Thanks again for posting that.

I'm looking forward to this episode. I've been wondering why the other Astrid was a living super computer. Will be interesting to see if they actually address that.

Except that Beret Astrid in these two realities isn't quite the sans-personality living computer she was in the other two. She, Olivia, and the two Walters are really different characters.

That's a good point. The Other Side Asteroid in this reality, though still a bit savant-like, definitely seems to be a but more human than her Season 2 - 3 counterpart in the original 'Other Side'.

Still, curious to see if they do address why the two Astrids do seem to be quite so different. Although this ep doesn't seem to be pushing the 'Peter-getting-home' theme all that much, I'm looking forward to it just for the fun-factor.

Hey Procutus!

Interesting, should we be having "Previouslies" from a universe which may not exist?
