I thought Emily was going to arrange her father's death at the end.

Good episode, not like the last two though.

Nina is seriously beginning to piss me off with her lying and manipulation of Olivia. How can she sleep at night after doing what she is doing to her surrogate daughter? I'm thinking the drugs are acting as an inhibitor to Olivia's psychic abilities which is why she isn't able to transport herself from one universe to another. But my question is why Nina would giving her that? To keep her from being less of a threat or obstacle to her plans with Jones and the shapeshifters?

Why didn't Olivia tell Peter about what the Observer did? She already told Broyles. Why not Peter or the others? This Olivia reminds me so much of the Season 1 Olivia in a bad way because it is a Olivia who hasn't undergo the growth S3 Olivia went through. I hope she opens her eyes to Nina's true colors sooner rather than later.

I'm feel sorry for the girl. Her death scene made me want to cry.

Good episode, not like the last two though.

I agree, I voted 'Very Good' because it was, just didn't kick ass quite the same way as the last two did.

This show is good again, but I'm still irked that we're basically just spinning our wheels in this other reality, as opposed to advance the story for the two universes we already knew.

I really hope that Team Abrams has something resembling a plan, especially if we're looking at only a half-season to go before the plug is pulled on Fringe.

Well gang, thanks for your participation. Time to sign off, grab a book and pull up the covers. Hope to see some of you on Monday for Alcatraz, then we'll meet back here next Friday.

:bolian:

I don't know why, but this episode made me really suspect that Nina is an Observer, albeit a rogue one and possibly why the others are so much more active lately. Her wig has been bothering me since the start, but I never really put it together until the final scene.

Yeah, the lingering in this other reality is bothering me too. Seeing both sides come together is something I wanted to see in the "proper" reality. It loses something in this one.

Are they ever going to return to the proper reality?

The father is named Currie Graham I think. He played Fancy's successor on NYPD Blue, and was a main cast character on Mark Paul Gosselaar's TNT lawyer show. Sinking to Fringe shows how hard times can afflict even experienced actors.

The father looks like Jon Cusack.

John Cusack? I personally don't see it

Oh wow, that was a particularly squishy way to go.

I wonder if we will catch a glimpse of the mysterious guy from last season's LSD ep tonight.

Which guy was that, Quo?

The guy who sabotaged the zeppelin in Olivia's mind during the LSD trip. She said that he was going to kill her.
Except that was "real universe Olivia", wasn't it? Maybe this alt-real universe Olivia doesn't have the same problem with that Zeppelin-sabotager-guy.
