Cash's dark side comes to light; Jason thinks he knows how to bring him and Erin back together; coach Taylor makes a decision that leaves Matt debating the future of his football career.

Another excellent. I have not been disappointed one bit with Season 3. Makes up for any problems with Season 2.

The scene with Coach and Matt's confrontation in the locker room was great. Poor Matt...he's really getting a raw deal. Did like he remembering how he got the starting job in the first place.

Nice to see the return of Street. Really felt for him in this storyline. The whole "go in on a house thing" reminds me of Mice and Men where George and Lenny plan to buy their dream farm with Curly. It's a major problem though when out of the four who own that house, Herc is the second-most responsible guy in the group.

Just finished watchin'. I love Street's roommate. He's been awesome for three seasons now.

Still think my idea last year of sendin' condoms & postcards that said "Wrap that puppy!" to NBC would have been great.

Now that Smash's story has wrapped, nice to see Street back. Hope he gets a decent send-off, too.

The coach's wife reminds me of a lady I work with. She looks a little like her except she has shorter blonde hair and talks a mile a minute.

I think Saracen is getting a raw deal. The coach should let him play since this is his last year. That Freshman has three more years to play so he can wait. I understand the kid is good, but Saracen worked his butt off and now is being thrown out.

Well it is getting back to the "high school football is our religion and way of life" thinking of the town. That said, I expect the McCoy storyline to go the Todd Marinovich route.

For a moment, when they talked about how they were short on receivers, I thought that they'd move Matt to wide out.

The synopsis seems off, since I didn't see any of "Cash's dark side coming to light," unless Tyra skipping school is supposed to be shocking. Maybe that was something cut from the DirecTV version and pushed to next week?

Anyways, this was another great FNL outing. I'm so happy season 3 has put the show back on track. The tail end of season 2 showed some promise but they were cut short, so it's nice to see that wasn't just a fluke. Looks like writers figured out what they were doing wrong and fixed it.

Cash will turn psycho with the pills and attack Tyra. Then Landry will have to kill him too. :p

Having watched the season already on DirecTV, it's fun reading the comments and speculation about what is and is going to happen.

All I'll say is keep watching - it just gets better as the season progresses

Really enjoyed this episode. It's nice to see Street back. I'm having a hard time remembering some of the details from season 2, but did Street know that Tim was in love with Lila? The two of them are together now - is Street okay with his best friend sleeping with his ex-girlfriend?

I really feel bad for Matt. I think he's one of the show's most realistic characters. He's a nice guy who can't get a break. I can relate to him. Abandoned by his father, mother (though now she's back), girlfriends, coach.

Tyra is just gorgeous. I'll watch her do just about anything. But I wish she'd get over Cash and go back to Landry (though, really, at this point, why should Landry take her back?).

I always felt that Matt was the most realistic teenager on television. His scene with Coach last season where he talks about being abandoned by everyone was a great one.

The best thing to happen to this show was the move to Directv. Season 2 deemphasized football, led to stupid stuff like the murder storyline, and pumped up the sex storylines, like the one with Matt and that nurse. Moving to Directv freed them from NBC and the show really got back to its roots.
