If there are any TSCC fans here who are sad about the possible cancellation of The Sarah Connor Chronicles, one of the mods in the Terminator Wiki asked if fans could come to the site on this Friday (15th May) so they would be able to count and map how many we are. Fans are invited to the homepage at http://terminatorwiki.fox.com/
Friday, 8pm to 8.15 eastern time.

The decision has not yet been made regarding the series' fate. They're waiting to see what the early buzz is regarding Salvation.

I thought it was a done deal. Canceled, no?
They decide on Monday.
The TSCC wiki is quite big. Although not as many members as TrekBBS (there is still over 10000) but big enough so hopefully someone thinks of something to change the tv execs minds if that happens.
Hope is that they will not want to cancel as the movie is coming out.

The buzz(pre-release) is good.
You must mean they are waiting on its OW haul.

Still the TV show is so unrelated to the events in the movie continuity its a moot point anyway. At best FOX might see an episode or two spike should it return for the Fall but unless it somehow retools it'll just drop back off.

And yet, we fans wait with blind hope.:techman:

Friday is the day to show support. :techman:
Terminator Salvation released next week.
Personally I love the tv series but did not consider the three movies released so far that great.
The tv series has an excellent story that works on different levels and the most talented actress on tv, playing cute Cameron. (In the future she is probably a four-star General who works for GA Connor.) Josh Friedman has done a good job.
Only show I remember which was better when watched for 2nd time.

Depends on where you are. Overseas TSCC is being promoted as the direct prequel to Terminator Salvation (more so connected than the novels).

Not to burst anyone's bubble but, personally, I hate the Terminator Wiki supported by Fox. Terminator Wiki on wikia is better and more accurate.

Season three will be John trying to correct the timeline he screwed up by jumping into the future. He gets Kyle Reese killed, so John has go to back in time and pretend he's Kyle with his own mom.

Apparently, at this point, it still is up in the air. It really depends on what the execs think of the pilots for next season. If there are more strong pilots than free slots, then T:TSCC is going to get the boot. If enough of the available pilots are hated, then Fox is going to renew.

No it doesn't. Where one is only determines the ACCURACY of the PROMOTION for the show. What the show is about is unchanged from continent to continent. Unless FOX is filming alternate sequences than the show is what it is, regardless of false promotion by overseas affliates.

It's not affiliates, its Warner Brothers themselves making the promotional material. But I didn't mean to imply that it is, in reality, the direct predecessor. A lot of people will be very confused.

It is only located on fox.com, was elsewhere before, it is all fans there and personally I am only in the discussion threads. If you look at the fox pages which also are accessible from the terminatorwiki you can see they have their own pages also, in addition to the wiki. It is the biggest meeting place for tscc fans, some of the other fan pages seem to have ---well lets say some of those mods in them are a bit eccentric. The talk is more anarchist or free in terminatorwiki but eventually those only trolling are guided out.
If you are a fan, the map they make on Friday might actually help the show as if there are foreign tv bosses looking at the map (and since the fans can well direct them there, it is a good chance), they might want to buy the show for more viewers from their respective countries.
