Some of those games aren't even free (eg. Age of Sail II) and many of the links are broken.

Laser Tank is good little freeware puzzle game.



edit: I remember one of the first freeware games I played, around 1996, was called something like H2whoooa.

It was basically a 2d platformy-puzzle game, which involved pushing fluid around and guiding its sloshing into a bucket at the bottom of the screen without losing too many droplets.

I'd love to have that game again. Does anyone remember it, or know what it was properly called? or where I can download it from?
