Free Star Trek and other Paper models.

Bummer about the camera, I was looking forward to seeing how it worked out. Yeah, the disruptor is coll, ther are so many to do and some of them really look nice when done. I think Ron's bridge is right up there as one of the best.

^^^ Outstanding! Please show us some of your work. You know I've often thought that if some of the CG guys would work with the paper model guys, we could have some of the coolest paper models on the planet. I went into Ron's Bridge and started changing some of the graphics, using scenes from screen-caps etc and it really started looking good. Unfortunately that was one conputer crash ago. I may try it again, but not right now. Another thing that got me thinking was some of the video game modders.... If they would work with the paper craft guys, We could have some decent models of sets and scenes.....

Keep on Trekkin and please show some of your work.

I finally completed the Workbee. Here's a pic of it, I increased the size of the model by 50%. It's right around 8 inches in total.

Outstanding! I'm really happy to see people building these. Cool toys huh?

Until they're attacked by the carnivorous quadrupeds intent on compromising the integrity of the hull.

They look very much like the one in one of my posts above.

LOL. The quadrupeds wouldn't be represented by that big beast I saw next to the Enterprise would they?

Yes they do.

On the same note, I'm currently working on the Equinox. It's the damn hardest one I've tried to build so far. I adjusted the scale to match the Reliant, Refit Enterprise, Excelsior, Grissom, etc.

It has several small parts that have difficult contours to them, the parts are not labeled, and it doesn't come with instructions. Normally not a problem, but on this model, I've had to look at the side, top, front, rear views to find ut where or how particular part should be installed.

That sounds like an interesting build. sometimes people that make up the models know exactly how things go and don't think about things, or miss things when they make the directions. It's easier than you think to be to close to something. I'm working on the directions of a particular craft, right now, and I have to get keep back tracking, to try and explain it. I spent less time building it than I've spent doing the directions. LOL

Can't wait to see what you have.

I'm still not done. And I'm also re-building the Reliant and Refit Enterprise. I took a picture so you can what it looks like so far, and you can see how they relate to each other in size too. These are in the same scale.

I found this site to be a bit helpful in determing what the rough scale of the ships are. But I sill use reference points to get the final scale size.
