Free FLV Player That Allows Frame-Level Stepping?

Is there a free FLV player that allows you to step through the video frame by frame? I'm working on an animation that mimics the action in a video that I downloaded, and I'd like to study the video's action frame by frame. The only players that I've tried seem to only allow to "skip" forward or backward in increments of about a half-second.

Thanks in advance!

Hello.

I don't know of any software capable of doing this particular thing, but the Quick Time Player allows you to view a video frame by frame. But you have to have the video in .mpg, .mp4 or .mov format.

If there is a high quality video on youtube, or wherever you have it from, you can use KeepVid to save it in .mp4 (if it is there).
Or you use VLC to convert the .flv to .mpg.

Any questions? Fell free to ask.

You can use VLC to convert FLV to MPG? Kickass, I never knew that. :techman:

I just realized how funny the sentence above must look to someone not familiar with the acronyms.
