Frank's RedHot sauce

I don't know about the rest of you, but I just love this stuff. I don't like super spicy food but this sauce seems to be just right for my taste. I like to use it on Pizza and it is great for adding some zing to my otherwise bland pre-workout meal of tuna and rice.

Unfortunately it's not available here in Romania and I have almost finished my last bottle. I'll be in Miami over Christmas though so I'm hoping to pick some up while I'm there. Does anyone know how easy it is to find in Miami?

I always figured that it was a national product. I bet you'll find it easily. I love it too. Mix it in with some scrambled eggs!

Well we get it in Canada too (which is where I'm from incidentally) so I brought a lot over with me when I moved.

I'll have to give it a try in scrambled eggs. Thanks for the suggestions!

I'm in the market for some of my old pepper sauce so that would get me in the right grocery aisle. I'll keep an eye out and if I see it I'll snag one :)

TheSeeker, you should be able to find it in the lager grocery stores. Being a Buffalo native, Frank's RedHot Sauce is the key ingredient in making proper (Buffalo) chicken wings! Hope you find some on your visit! Locally, we can get it in a gallon size!

Frank's RedHot Sauce does make the best buffalo wings!

It is in all the major grocery stores where I live. I would take Q2's advice and look in the grocery stores there. I believe Publix would have it.

I grew up with the stuff back in Kentucky. It was the brand my dad liked. In my adult (?) years, I have come to prefer Tabasco. It is hotter and a little goes a long way. An alternative in Miami is Chalula brand. It is a very tasty Mexican sauce that is outstanding on eggs. I carry little packets of it on my flights to jazz up the very boring omeletes they serve.

I too am a big fan of it. Can you not order any via the internet?

If you can't, everythought about giving the Dave's Insanity line a chance in the meantime?

that stuff is great. put it on a Subway BMT or on any hamburger helper. Not so good on Taco Bell products -- best stick to their sauces.

Frank's Red Hot was the secret ingredient in the original buffalo wings in Buffalo, NY. mmmmmmmmmm

Frank's is good-but I prefer Chollula or Tapatio-that's what happens when you grow up in the SouthWest.

I don't just like hot, I like hot with flavor, and some of these really, really hot sauces taste like bromide plastic and I find them disgusting. Frank's isn't hot, but has a very good flavor.

Is anything good on Taco Bell products?

People actually eat those terrible excuses for tacos and burritos? I guess so, they are still around. The one time I went to Los Angeles I went to a Taco Bell. I asked my brother why when there was a Mexican restaurant or stand on virtually every corner. "Drive thru" was the only response I got.

I do like their Supreme Fries I guess, but NY Fries does it much, much better.

I like Frank's, I use it on my chicken wings too. I usually buy the store brand wings for convenience that are pre-sauced (and they are realy quite good and meaty), but I'll dip it in Franks and sour cream.

Ooh, my roommate and I need to buy some too...we finished off a giant bottle of it a little bit ago, and we're down to only like three hot sauces in the apartment right now. Time to stock up again!

It should be very easy. Though I've never been there, I have some friends there currently, and we were just having a discussion about Frank's and making wings like we used to get in college (we went to school just outside Rochester, so real Buffalo Wings were easy to come by)

Is it supposed to be *really* really hot?

Like these sauces we used to sell in my store, but which seem to have been discontinued...I think there were three different kinds: One Cajun, one regular barbecue, one Caribbean jerk. I remember 'cuz the bottles all had pictures of people screaming, that's how hot the sauces were.
