Fox working to bring X-Men to TV

I'm always interested to see what Fox will cancel next.

And I thought I was a cynic !

Anyone got any more news on this - are the negotiations happening ?

Have you see the Futurama episode Lrrreconcilable Ndndifferences?

Matt Groening's head: So, anyway, we're really excited to show you guys the pilot for our new TV series.
David X. Cohen's head: It's set in the year 4000, and we call it Futurella!
[The audience turns on their video-phones as the pilot starts. The credits begin but before the title can even get off the screens, a buzzer sounds and the screens go black as the word "cancelled" appears.]
Matt Groening's head: Wow. Fox has really streamlined the process.

Anyway, I haven't heard anything more about this, but I'd bet you a million space-bucks that there are negotiations going on. There's too much franchise money to be made here!

Most fans I know think DC are making a mistake or looking foolish by having separate cinema and TV continuities, especially given the huge success of Marvels coherent universe.

I suppose Fox could go either way, but I'd think they'd look at the MCU and see how well that is going...

I think DC is doing a good thing. At least they can distance them selves from the blunder that was "Man Of Steel".

I quite liked MoS. It's Superman vs Batman that's worrying me.

Anyhow, any news on the X-Men TV show ?
