Well, since FOX is just sputtering with the X-Men films, I'd love for Marvel to get them. then, we could have a main X-Men movie that doesn't just forget its an ensemble film to focus on one actor/character over everyone else. It did ok when that actor was Hugh jackman, but Mystique/Jennifer Lawrence leading Apocalypse was one of the biggest problems with that movie. Let the MCU get it, then reboot that whole series completely (outside of Deadpool, but he's so disconnected that he wouldn't need to be changed, plus a reboot could make his version of Colossus, who is actually russian and interesting, canon to the X-Men universe).
As for Star Wars, the unmodified OT is, in my opinion based off seeing it on pre-special edition VHS copies, inferior. Its missing too much of the stuff I like about the OT (mostly small things like Biggs/Luke meewting before they go into space, but the little things add up) and it doesn't look as good (say what you want about that terrible Jabba the hutt scene, most of the visual changes were improvements, like making bewspin actually look impressive). that said, I'd be fine with the unmodified OT being available for those who want it.
I'd actually like to see all the versions get released, so I could get my personal favorite version (the first special edition) and not have to have things like hearing Vader yell "NOOOO" in RotJ or see R2's magic rock trick in ANH. Avatar had a Blu Ray release with a bunch of different versions, so have a few other movies. It would probably print a good amount of money for Disney, so if they could do it I think it would be cool.
