Fox & ITV in "Revolutionary" Deal

Since the deal includes back-catalogue shows as well, maybe we'll get an ITV version of Futurama... though perhaps it's better if we don't. :D

I wouldnt mind seeing a US based spin-off of Primeval
I know the show is about a team chasing down prehistoric critters (which could be fun assuming you have a Spielbergian budget to make the critters look good) but otherwise, what do they do?
well as you say they try and return creatures to there time periods, but they also have to deal with people who try and use the analomies for there own gain or to try and control the future.

Then there is the Conner (nerd) and Abby (hot chick who likes to dance around in her underwear with a cute little CGI creature) courtship.

the leads (Nick) ex wife (Helen), is a bit of bitch, appearing from no where half the time to screw with her husband, and any woman he might have a passing fancy for.

the future creatures are always fun as well

Do they air cricket matches? Jack Bauer could bring something extra to them.

"Damnit! We don't have time to drink tea! We have to finish the game now! Don't make me hurt you!"

Mmm, not really seeing what's appealing in this premise. Rounding up animals might be fun to watch for a couple episodes but that could get old fast. Time-travel stuff has been overdone. The soapy aspects sound unappealing. I can think of many other premises I'd rather see attempted far more.

Nope, ITV show Football (soccer), some boxing and (until recently) F1 racing, but no cricket.

It's pretty much just Saturday evening fluff. They did attempt to have an on going arc this year. Last year after a predator from the future escaped in to the past the time line changed, and there was an ongoing conspiracy angle for the rest of the series. It's fun, but it's not really deep sci-fi.
