I finally watched the Pitchmen show on Discovery this morning only to read about this an hour later is shocking. Rest in Peace Billy and that the family stays strong during this time. I'm just in shock.

He was very young, only 50.

My thoughts exactly. Lost of death this week. It has hit me hard because my grandfather passed away this week as well.

I wanted to see Pitchmen, but never got a chance. I love his ESPN 360 commercial. My condolences to the family.

I went through a phase where no one would believe I was in my mid 30s, I was getting fired for being "too young." Seriously. People were telling me I was too young to go forward with life.

I guess life really doesn't begin until you turn 40 around here. But by then it's almost over.

Billy Mays grew up on the same street as my mom. They played together as kids. I believe he actually graduated high school with my aunt. Very sad.

I didn't realize until I saw a news broadcast today that this was the OxiClean guy. I can't say I really knew him from anything other than that, but to his credit he always caught my attention during one of those Oxi commercials.

They're saying that his death was a result of heart disease and an artery blockage.

Yeesh... another death at age 50. Too young.
