Two things covered in this post - I was bored so I was doing the frame by frame through the trailers trying to pick up goofy stuff..came across the following:
1) at 00:41 in the third trailer there is a panning shot of the cadets standing at the Academy (I presume). Towards the bottom of the screen is the bridge crew of the Enterprise from right to left - Uhura, Sulu, Chekov, McCoy (ok not bridge crew, but he's there often enough) the dark skinned alien seen in the background on the bridge when Kirk takes the chair and some other red shirt fillers - no Kirk. There are also a couple of Narn looking aliens in the crowd for you Babylon 5 fans.
2) Spock in his dialog about feeling fear is wearing a grey uniform which if you slowly go through the scene in the trailer seems to be worn by everyone sitting at the end of the row - teachers perhaps. Like how a Drill Instructor in the military accompanies his class and stands with them until graduation. So maybe spock is already a graduate, teaching at the Academy and gets the Ent as the First officer.
