All Access does not use the public airwaves as the broadcast network does, and therefore is not beholden to FCC rules and standards. Also people keep saying they need added content besides Trek but since it is CBS and has to deal with government censorship then how are they ever going to really compete against HBO,Netflix etc that allows their shows to have more creative freedom?

If Discovery had hooked me, I would only pay month to month during its initial run. Paying a full year's subscription for one show makes no sense. I don't watch much TV as it stands.
Even with added Trek content I still don't know if it will be enough to keep people paying all year long. You could most likely get by with the service 4 months or so out of the year. Also I don't think anybody has mentioned this but people will be sharing their passwords so that will dip into the profits as well.

A while back, I think they said CAA could be shared with up to five devices. Or watched by five devices simultaneously or something.
How many devices can I use with my CBS All Access account?
You can use any number of devices. However, you may only use a maximum of two simultaneous streams (measured across all content available on CBS All Access) at any time, regardless of the number of devices that CBS Interactive permits you to use with CBS All Access. CBS Interactive may change the maximum number of simultaneous streams of CBS All Access that you may use at any time in its sole discretion.

I was thinking more along the lines of them bringing regular CBS shows over but it would make sense to create more shows just for all-access but I wonder if they have the money to do that. I doubt Netflix is going to pay for all their shows like they did for "Discovery."
I have a question. Is CBS and the CW owned by the same company? I was wondering how "Supergirl" was able to switch sites. I was thinking about this in terms of wondering if maybe they might start creating some cheap but afforable CW level comic book shows like "Arrow" and "The Flash" etc. Also we all know "Supernatural" has another 10 years in it where the boys will still somehow never age so maybe that will comes over in the future.

Yeah, why wouldn't he. I wouldn't mind being in his position, and most people probably wouldn't mind either. He's running a business. Star Trek wouldn't exist or have lasted this long if someone didn't want to make money off of it, be it NBC/Desilu back in the 60's, and then Paramount/Viacom/UPN/CBS after that.Les loves your $$$
