Any inspiration from Clarke's 2061 novel? It's been a long time since I read it, but I vaguely remember a description of a shark-like creature that had more of a beak. The first few pics reminded me of that.

No sorry, but I believe you made that comment for my Bolian Kar'Kas in the Menagerie Thread:

^Second one reminds me of the Caspian Sea Monster and other similar ground effect vehicles.

Hmm, is number 4 in your latest post an homage to the alien in "It Conquered the World"?

And what about number 6, a nod to the locust-like Martians from "Quatermass and the Pit"?

Nice work as usual! :mallory: :bolian:
Thanks!

Indeed, number 4 is influenced by the Venusian, Bullah from "It Conquered the World", and number 6 Is my interpretation of the Martians from "Quatermass and the Pit"...
Good to know someone is paying attention around here ;)

7 based on a T-Rex.

I wish the ALIEN franchise had a pseudo-documentary. The Xenomorph life cycle is old hat—but having them on an even more hostile world would be interesting.

The only creature that looked more dangerous was from The Deadly Spawn.

7 is based on a theropod, and specifically a painting by Gregory S. Paul ;)

Also, in an old Alien comic they had shown a possible alien ecosystem... And in a relative recent series they showed an ecosystem that derived from the Deacon.
Movie wise, Covenant showed a whole world that was technically an environment altered by the black liquid.

Your skills are incredible Chris!
You could put your drawings in books, like the old TTA ones. I think you would come with more than 10 books, with no effort!!
