A sweet blending of the 1980 aesthetic with the core elements from the 1936 Saturday matinee serial! Or, did Alex Raymond draw the Lion Men using saucer type craft in the original newspaper strips? I do know Thun piloted a "spinning top" type ship in the Buster Crabbe adaptation, but I wonder if the serial got the idea from the comic series? (Yeah, "Google is one's friend", but it's not infallible.)

Seriously, I don't think I've ever seen anyone have the artistic chops to do that so effectively.

Davros always terrified me when I was a child, and I love your take on the character. I like how he's not so much in a chair, but just propped up more awkwardly, without legs, in a Dalek capsule. He looks more uncomfortable and wretched here, which fits the character well!

Also like your Dalek starships very much as well.

I am a Huge fan of Davros as well, and always wanted him to look more broken, and slave to his travel machine... As if it had taken over him, the more he was rotting away.

A note: The Earthforce vessels are nothing too spectacular as I followed the Omega/Nova and Hyperion stock... I cannot stand the Warlock...lol
I also gave them a more "enclosed" hull as the exposed huge (and I mean huge piping made no sense; especially since B5 ships are way bigger than most realise...)

Thank you bro. Dune is a very tough cookie to work out as there are absolutely no descriptions of the technology outside of very slim details and allusions here and there. With the Atreides frigate, I wanted to homage the David Lynch art team's look. And if you have not guessed already, the Harkonnens are based on Giger's unused work in Jodorowsky's unmade Dune... The rest is all me including the ZardoZ Corino head
