Didn't like the re-cast of the Tora Ziyal character. She was played by three different actresses - not even Bruce Maddox had this kind of 'honor'.

Yes. I am a bit bored with Romulans, tbh.

What's funny is that I felt that way about Klingons in the early 90's. TNG used them heavily (especially because of Worf) and half the TOS movies featured them as villains (thoughi n TFF they were a secondary villain to Sybok).

I was excited that 10 movies in, we'd finally get them as the bad guys in Nemesis, but that was arguably the Remans, with the Romulans actually helping against the clone of Picard. 09 was the first, proper, use of Romulans as the main villains.

But, now, yes, both the Klingons and Romulans are overused. It would be interesting to see where the Cardassians are almost a quarter century following the end of DS9. I'm re-reading the post DS9 novels and it struck me how interesting it would be to see the Bajorans and Cardassians work together. As the novels argue, it would help Bajor recover from their emotional wounds of the occupation by actually helping the Cardassians post the Dominion ravaging of their world.
