Ok, have to admit the side view was giving me memories of Princess Ardala’s ship from Buck Rogers in the 25th Century show.

Not like those bad memories, of course (Colonel Deering... ahem, whew!).

Cheers,

^ Draconia, basically with that arching curve you have drawn on the side view, giving it almost a ‘hooded’ look, if that makes sense.

Cheers,

The Ferengi Marauder looks a closer fit to Draconia.

Now, this looks a bit more like the vessel from Flight of the War Witch.

I wonder what this might look like with a forward sensor bulb in place of the nacelle...

Hmmmm... I think I understand... maybe

The Shark ship?
And a sensor bulb you say... hmmmmm

not this particular variant, no. I am thinking of another one with more "optionability"...a refit if you will
It wouldn't be a bad idea. In that way, you can make use of saucers who's stardrive section went *poof*, at a fraction of the cost.

From the side view I assumed it had two nacelles on some stubby wing structures but this way it is a really cool single nacelle ship.:mallory:

aye. Like with the dominion war.

Aye I wanted a single nacelle tng starship that fit the tng aesthetic, but was not a "saladin configuration".

We'd have to ask the designer responsible, but I wouldn't be surprised if the Vorcha was inspired by the Draconia in some way.
I dunno if Sternbach had the Draconia in mind when he designed the Vor'Cha, but I do know he said he used the D7 as the starting off point.
