Fonts on Novel covers

Hi everybody,

I hope that this is the right forum to ask this but can anybody tell me what font the word Titan from the Star Trek Titan book covers, is printed in? Or the word Vanguard from that series? I'll probably have more questions later!

"Titan" is Nagesh Shinde's Seven.

"Vanguard" looks like a modified Federation Starfleet to me. You can dload it from Tal Shiar.

Crazy font, right? At first I didn't like it 'cause the lettering fits the Romulans more than a Starfleet vessel that's named Titan. But it's grown on me. ;-)

The "Star Trek" part is Trek Generation 1 at 60% height.

"Klingon Empire" is Bandolero

and "A Burning House" and author credit are La Gioconda Bold

The Destiny font is Benguiat Book at 75% height for the Star Trek header and normal height for the rest of the front cover copy.

On <b>Burning House</b>, the "Star Trek" portion looks like Serpentine Bold.

As for "Vanguard", I've seen a fan-produced version called "Jeffries Extended". It looks somewhat akin to Millenium, Starfleet Bold Extended, Red Alert and their kin but without the signature outline around each letter-glyph.

Speaking of Millenium, I do wish that Adobe - Bitstream? - would extend the font into the non-Latin alphabets and other writing systems.

For Stargazer, the nearest I have found is "Graublau Web", which needs width adjustment to get the right proportions!
