i always thought that the name of the Trek ship, "The SS Beagle" was the stupidest name for a ship. Like, why the hell did they name a ship after a dog?

Well, this past week i started reading "Why Evolution is True" and discovered that the ship Darwin traveled to the Galapagos was called the SS Beagle!

See? I'm only HALF an idiot!
