The writing has been up and down since the pilot. After the fierce shootout in D.C., why did the three agents immediately get on a plane and fly to L.A.? Yes, they would have been concerned about Janis, but it seems to me that there would have been a ton of investigative work to do in the nation's capital. And no I don't think all of it would have been handed over to other investigators.
As Temis suggested previously, the trail of the blue hands was strictly Hardy Boys-level. As for "Sawyer Court," I hope this will be the last lame shout-out to another show.

Whoever is directing these episodes really needs to learn how to maintain tension. The musical interludes are becoming increasingly stupid and badly placed. The songs that played over the shoot out last ep and the chase scene this ep were terrible. Absolutely terrible.
What was the rest of Mark's daughter's flash forward? How did she know D Gibbons was a bad 'man' when she was in the house. Was the phone call Lloyd took from D Gibbons?
Will Simon and Lloyd's experiment actually be the cause? Will the Kangeroo be a cause? Will this show actually go beyond it's first season (I really hope not, it's the kind of show that really only has a story and legs for a story for a single season, anything more and you've got stupid old Lost).
