And I truly doubt you know the first thing about my attitudes. :rommie: Your random rants and "interesting" logic are very amusing but the sun has set here in Cali and I'm missing my trick or treating! See ya in the funny pages!
Oh, I know enough about your attitudes - they're very annoying, for one thing. But what could you expect from someone who uses the phrase "bleeding heart liberal" (what a stupid expression) in every post. Now that you've started openly insulting me, I can just close the "discussion" by telling you I agree with you - you'd be much better off trick and treating than posting, until you actually have something intelligent to say.

Other than that they bore me and I'd rather have two hot guys slobberin' over each other? Not really.
Good. So then you can stop whining about lesbian scenes, because, OMG, someone else will drool over them, but not you? Personally, I'm far more likely to drool over a hot and exciting male-female couple than a male gay couple and certainly rather than over a lesbian couple, which does not float my boat - but I don't see why I should whine about the inclusion of sex/makeout scenes which - shock!horror! - don't turn me on. So a lot straight guys drool over lesbians? So what? Get over it. The producers are only worried about ratings? No kidding? They might not have gay rights at heart? Oh, how shocking. Guess we should ban all gay scenes on TV until we find producers who can offer irrefutable evidence that they're deeply dedicated to the cause of promoting LGBT rights.

I think I prefer people who are open about their own bigotry. It's refreshing when they simply state that they hate seeing gays of their own gender on screen, without sugarcoating it in rants about how 'exploitative, cheep, ratings-grabbing' it is, yada yada yada. At least they're honest.

Sorry, new to the threads on FF, new to this thread...

...but did anyone notice...

... as the bus plunges into the lake, a bright light, like a small sun, suddenly appears over the city?

It may have been in other eps, but if so I didn't notice it.

Anyone?

Anyone? Bueller?

An enjoyable episode that touched on both the big arc and smaller stories at the same time. Goyer has said he wants this series to reflect both aspects, and I think it's handled well. I do hope however that by the end of S1 the question of "can a future be changed" gets addressed or else it's going to get tedious say, a year from now if we're still wondering about it. I'm leaning towards the visions being potential futures and not the solid futures, but that's partly from reading the book. I think I'll definitely keep watching through the end of the season to see how it plays out.

Sauron must be behind the Flash Forward! It all makes sense now!

...Him or Randall Flagg...

Hmm. Looked at it again The sky is clear, with some smoke, and there's noithing really near it. It happens very quick, like it's part of a machine. Also, as can be seen by the shadows, the Sun is in a different part of the sky. Can anyone who recorded it or find it on Hulu or whatever have a look?

Maybe someone with the relevant ep and suitable software could make an animated gif of it. That's a bit beyond me. I think it's going to be important.
