Going to be hard for Mark to have his phone conversation with Lloyd if he's in jail.

Of course, maybe the clown-faced assassins won't find him there.

Wierd there is no one else in jail given the mardi gras type parting going on.. ok off to fringe.

Heh, no one's flashforward is going to come true, unless stuff radically changes in the next couple hours (show time).

It's too bad that they're not going to be able to wrap up this show properly. :borg:

This was a pretty good episode... still way too convoluted though. These "villains" have been incredibly vague and lame.

People making decisions is drama. Mark soothing Charlie, Mark drinking, Demetri dumping Zoe, Demetri going with Janis, evil Anubis clone toying with Mark to manipulate the outcome, Nicole and Bryce splitting. Come to think of it, how did they manage to breathe life back into that plot?
Resolution of the temporal paradoxes is impossible, so a truly satisfying end is impossible. Plus of course, the temptation is muff the resolution so the plot could be extended for another four years that didn't come. They may crash and burn yet, but excellent so far.

I must say, after the intensely interesting two parter when the show returned, showing the backstory of Charlie (LOST) and the mysterious conspiracy behind the blackout... it hasn't really delivered on the promise since then. They should have kept Ricky Jay around as the big bad, this new guy isn't as interesting.

How does that work? You're my boss at the FBI. You know I'm an unstable addict. You've known it all along but have done absolutely nothing to counter the instability. In fact, you exacerbate it by putting me alone in a room with the guy behind everything who can SEE THE FUTURE and states A B C I'm going to lose it and then, when *SHOCK / HORROR* I lose it, you blame me for everything and throw me out to get drunk and be assassinated. Nice. What a dick.

Also, I was kinda hoping they'd have the doctor / candystriper love fest end with her getting drowned by him, but I guess we'll just have the implication.

I'm a little vague on the date thing they're harping on for some reason. Is "today" just the day that they were all supposed to have flashforwarded and seen in the pilot? Or is it also supposed to be the day of the second black out as well? Cause an awful lot of angst seems to be hanging on this day, when Mark (and candydtriper who isn't even involved in the main plot) was the only one in danger during the original FF.

Anyway, my guess for the end is lame cliffhanger.
