It's alright. I've found that most of the flash i use are youtube links, which my N1 could handle fine already. A nice feature is the browser's "on demand" plugin feature. With it enabled, the browser doesn't automatically load the flash content, but if I tap on a flash frame, it will then load all the flash on your current page. Click a link and it goes back to no flash on the new page. All in all a very slick implementation. The media itself is inconsistent, but that is to be expected since Adobe hasnt yet enabled hardware acceleration, leavibg the CPU under a lot of strain.
Also, just to put some numbers in this marketshare debate, according to Apple's last financial statement, and Google's IO announcement, Apple is selling a little more than 200.000 iphones a WEEK. Google is seeing 100,000 newly activated android phones a DAY.
