Flash Drive MP3 Players & XRay Machines

Can I safely put my flash drive MP3 player through the X-Ray Machine at the court house? Or should I just let the guard examine it?

You should be perfectly safe doing that, it's not very different from having a digicam in a suitcase when you are going on vacation -unless those machines at the court house are positively ancient.
