Five(ish) Doctors coming to DVD

wow! Peter has lost weight since Time crash! With a little hair dye he could certainly pick up in a classic role sort of way, a bit cameo again! I think with make up these days, and prosthetics, they could make him look about 20 years younger, like they did in Lord of the Rings, when we see the flashback of Bilbo Baggins, and the impeccable job they did there.

Honestly if Sylvester McCoy and Colin baker lost weight, give Colin a curly wig, and maybe added a bit to Peter's hair line with hair extensions, they could all do pretty close to looking the part of a seasoned Doctor out of Time..and not too aged to be out of scale with minimal time aging from them being together..I mean, the 50th was nice and all and answered the Question for the Time War problems, but wouldn't it be nice to get the entire surviving Crew out there in one more blast before it gets too late.. I mean a missed opportunity was certainly Tom Baker's absence in the 5 Doctors..

I would like to see these fine past Doctors come back as looking lean and mean, and ready to deal damage to their ultimate nemesis once more. Omega! Now that would be my vote for this year's Doctor Who fan wet dream!

Fantastic news. Hopefully, there will be some nice special features to go along with it. I think I read somewhere that Peter Davison wanted to do a behind-the-scenes feature for the possible DVD release. And I would love to hear a commentary track between the three of them.

I should hope there are some awesome extras. Otherwise, how else are they going to convince people to buy the DVD of something they can legally watch for free online on YouTube or even the official BBC site?

I love this "episode", but I think it would've made more sense to add it on to AIS&T or TOTD.

Agreed that they should find some extras to add for a standalone release. Interviews maybe, or have we seen all the possible interviews?

AIUI it's going to be part of a set with Day Of The Doctor including the cinema intros, which weren't on the original release.

I hope they'll include Time Of The Doctor as well, if only for those of us who don't want to be saddled with extra copies of the previous Smith Xmas specials...

^ Is it going to be available on it's own? I have DOTD on blu-ray already and the only thing worse than having to buy this separately is having to buy something a second time to get it.

They could sell it seperatly, bundle it along with DOTD and NOTD with a few extras as the 50th Anniversary specials, then maybe next year they bundle it into the S8 set.

Or do all three a few months apart to make more money.

The thing is it's only 30 mins long, how much can they charge for that by itself, £7 for DVD/ £10 for BR? Much more than that it's getting expensive for what you are actually getting even with extras.

It's certainly the potential extras that interest me, three of them doing a commentary would be excellent.
