Yea there is ones as 'Star Trek Phase 2' or 'The New Voyages' with 10 or such episodes fan made or otherwise in induction...then there is about 10 or more series or something with those fan made Trek too. 'Star Trek Continues' is awesome as well. The main Trek series seem to be there in 9 or 10 as the most important.
That's Jason Isaacs' head photoshopped onto the body of Captain Pike. He's never been in a Star Trek series, but he is a pretty big name actor, I'm surprised you didn't recognize him. Wouldn't it be awesome if we could get a modern Trek series that stars some good actors, has a good storyline, with good special effect, and that both adds to the existing continuity while remaining faithful to it at the same time. It sure sucks living in the dark age (going on 17 years) of Trek media.
So the mid tale of placements of first to this for here is, the number listing as first place 8 The Original Series, 8 Deep Space Nine 4, The Next Generation and 1 for Discovery Voyager and Enterprise seem to fluctuate most or something.
1. DS9 2. TOS 3. The one with Seth McFarlane (wink, wink) 4. TNG 5. ENT (just in case you were wondering about #3)
The more I rewatch Enterprise, the more I really like it. With that said: The Next Generation/Deep Space Nine Enterprise Voyager Star Trek Discovery I need to see how it goes for at least 2 more seasons. It's too early to say, but the finale didn't give me optimism. I don't post in this forum very much, but I love the idea of an Orville Reference Jar.
