Fist of the Four Lights

Kracov

Ensign
Newbie
I drew a comic panel featuring Captain Picard, in the style of a macho anime/manga called Fist of the North Star. I know revenge doesn't suit Picard, but it's just a comic :)

I may do art requests, i'd prefer to draw only Picard, Data, Klingons. I'm not good at drawing regular people.

Like you said, Picard isn't about revenge....normally.

But why does it say "datadatadata etc" when Picard is pummeling Madred? Is there a secret message there?

I think its great, well done! :) Good work.

The ah-datadatadatadatadata is a bit weird though :)

LOL. Picard Has Roid Rage

no other way to explain those huge traps and mean spirit

Maybe some of the Picard we saw in First Contact resurfaces.

Or there's a Borg implant they didn't find that alters his behavior somehow. It would make a good story.

Perhaps in an alternate universe, this would be totally believable. Particularly if Picard had been held captive for a much longer period, and the experience made him more hardened. But it's very well done, regardless. I love the style you use, Kracov. Is the 'DATADATADATA...' bit an in-joke as Picard pummells Madred? Otherwise it's a bit odd.

Love it overall though. :techman:

The "ah-datadata..." part mimics the part in the Fist of the North Star series where the protagonist uses a move called Hundred Crack Fist, and does a hundred hits. He says "Ah-tatatatatata..." like a machine gun.

Well, I loved that. I hope everyone else can see it for the parody that it happens to be.

I think its great!! I don't think the nitpicking is warranted. Clearly this Picard is not supposed to be acting in character, otherwise it wouldn't be funny! Did Picard have bulging muscles in the show as well? Of course not, but no one has mentioned anything about that...

I enjoy the artwork very much, but also did not understand the Data reference. Perhaps you could continue the story with further panels. Happy to see this continue.

I LOLed so hard.

Having seen a few episodes of Fist of the North Star, I immediately caught all the references.

For those of you who are taking the "DATATA" stuff too literally, it's just an anime onomatopoeia for punches unleashed in quick succession (specifically the Hundred Crack Fist from FotSN).
