First S&S Catalog Description of Rings of Time

Christopher, I have a question and I'm just going to pose it here, but aren't so called forgotten history reference books always changing along with their so called timelines. I.e., when you change the future, doesn't the past change as well retroactively, but you said there are protected archives from alternate timelines, but people wouldn't be protected so what good would those documents be to anyone?
Also. I have no idea what I'm talking about.

I'm guessing that the agents check their protected files regularly, so if anything in them doesn't jibe with what they remember or what history records, they'll follow up on it.

You can't have love and money. It's either or.
What if I love money? :p

Probably wouldn't even have to be anything as low-tech as all that. Have one set of protected archives, one set of unprotected archives, and a monitoring program that watches the two and sends out an alert of varying priority whenever they differ from one another.
