First "New Voyages" Episode link

I have a Question about the first episode of new voyages. I no longer have it but i seem to recall a strange alien lady and lots of turbolift sequences but the phase II site has no link to it. Where might i find it?

Is there a reason Come What May seems to have been disowned by the New Voyages production team? I mean, it wasn't up to the standards of the episodes that would follow, but the whole venture has been an organic, growing, and improving process. Why practically deny the episode exists?

It was a prof of concept test, to prove that they could do it...

It was never intended to be public. It was only after the fact that members of NV decided to put it up on the net.

Sorry, but I feel obligated to set the record straight on this - again.

Come What May was ALWAYS intended to be released on the net - from the very beginning of actual production. I know. I was there.

The fact that it's not up to the standards later achieved is easy to account for - we were new at this. There were something like 18 people who worked on the first shoot and many had no prior experience even remotely related what we were attempting to pull off.

But I'll tell you, I made friends through that adventure that I will always consider close family for having gone through it together. For that, and the fact that we completed the goal, I am proud of that production.

Come What May was totally watchable. It was obviously a "first outing" but it had some good scenes, and the first time you saw those NV sets it just blew you away!

John, although it's worth correcting any factual misunderstandings you have nothing to defend ;) . It is definately watchable and even more of an accomplishment since it was your first. It is sad that it's not always obvious for new audience members how to get to it though.

Indeed, nothing to defend against. I enjoyed it very much myself.

I was only saying what I heard.

It's like the first pilot of the original series. What would be cool would be like a "Menagerie" episode where they find a way in the story to cut in some clips of "Come What May"
