I believe it's the pullback from "Contact"(with some Trek elements thrown in), done with the credits and music to First Contact. Probably been posted before, but I came across it today and thought it was an improvement over the original-even though the FC theme should be enough to move you anyway.

Good stuff! I've always wanted to see a powers-of-ten pullback in a Trek film. First Contact was good - from Picard's eye to the Borg ship interior... but that didn't exactly span the universe. :) And the opening of Nemesis was just from a planet, through the clouds, to a building.

I like this version, even though I'd probably stick to the simpler version of the original.

On the other hand, this might be interesting to put over Star Trek V, since William Shatner always wanted to end that film with a powers of ten sequence, but never had the money to do it.

Nicely done, but I'm pretty sure that pullback sequence is lifted from "Contact" starring Jodie Foster.

Which is a great film by the way ;)

That was wonderful. The music from First Contact and the pull-back lifted from Contact worked very well together. I, also, enjoyed some of the minor additions they made to the Contact pull-back. I, especially, liked seeing the Enterprise-E moving through the Pillars of Creation.

I think the original intro was better. This kind of reminded me of the intro to Superman Returns too much... (which I also like)

OK. You sold me. Ya know, technology will someday allow fans to "fix" all the things they think are wrong with films. Imagine how many versions of each film we will have in our hard drives. They'd better hurry up with those consumer TerraByte modules!

Already happening.

Not too many Trek entries, but that's just a matter of time.

Was about to join and watch but then I thought..why? Kirk was the only good thing ABOUT that movie...the rest of it was Picard crying and boring babble talk..I guess thats okay for Modern Trek fans, but not me..

How about taking out Picard crying..that would make the movie more funner by far..

Nice idea, but it doesn't work well. First, pulling out across the whole universe just doesn't fit with that's going on in the film (what does that have to do with anything?). Second, the blur-in titles don't read well on these images.
