We've seen aliens have incognito first contact with humans. Have we ever seen humans from pre-2063 be randomly stranded on an alien planet and have to blend in a la "Carbon Creek" and "Where No Man Has Gone Before" "The City on the Edge of Forever" (Preserver abductions don't count)?

Haven't seen that, but at a glance, main character doesn't try to hide. I was thinking more along the lines of 20th century humans walking through a portal in a cave and wind up on an alien planet without intending to, then masquerade as aliens when they realize they've travelled...somewhere.

What episode of Star Trek would be focused on humans on an alien planet prior to 2063?

Not necessarily an episode, perhaps a comic or novel. Anything, really.

The abductions in "The 37s" would count to most of your requirements

* humans from pre-2063
* randomly stranded on an alien planet
* have to blend in a la "Carbon Creek"
* Preserver abductions don't count

The frozen humans didn't have to blend in, and the ones we saw the descendants of were put to work as slaves thus not blending in. North Star is similar, although again without the blend in (slaves and uprising)

I think that plot is quite rare in scifi in general.

Outside of Trek, I haven't seen it, but I believe "John Carter" may tick a few boxes.

None as far as I know, but Gary 7 was offworld but we didn't see that. He might have been assigned to a pre-warp civilization for a mission. We've only seen him on Earth, but there's room for novel or an episode with him on a pre-warp civilization.

Say that someone travelling on foot/in a wagon prior to the 21st century took shelter from the rain in a cave and some random space portal opened up. So they think they're still on Earth when they walk through it, but it takes them to another planet.
