First Contact: Am I hearing things?

Okay, I have really good hearing. And I would swear that the voice delivering the Live Long And Prosper at the end of the movie belongs to James Cromwell.

So am I the only one who thinks this? And if it is indeed his voice is there any independent confirmation floating around the internet?

Never got that impression. And why would they dub the Vulcan with James Cromwell's voice if he was standing right there on the set as anotehr character?
It's not like he needed a hidden cameo there.
If anything a reason for dubbing with a significant cameo voice would be to use Gene Roddenberry's voice...

Yeah I never got the impression either that it was Cochrane saying "Live Long and Prosper." That doesn't make any sense.

Doesn't sound anything like Cromwell.

And Roddenberry's voice coming out of that Vulcan would be stupid - his voice was a little "high" and, in that context, would've sounded comical.

I never got that impression either. The voices sound quite dissimilar to me.
