First off, to those who saw my posts as Hiroki_Ishiyama, sorry it has been so long updating, I lost that email address and had to sign up under a new one.

I finally have some word on our LCARS re-write:

http://lcars.lybredyne.net/

It's a ground up re-write of the version I did using the Linux framebuffer.

This one uses SDL.
Also, we are using XML to control the screen layout.

It's rough at this point, but we are fast tracking to project. Cleaning up the graphics will be priority after we get the bas functionality running.

I know the colors are off, we have yet to finalize the color scheme management classes.

But, thanks for the link, saves me time tracking done the color scheme.

I have updated the colors, and began integration of a programming language.

http://lcars.lybredyne.net/screen/XML_Test_Screen2.png is the latest screen shot.

http://lcars.lybredyne.net/screen.html for a slide show of screen shots.

The language used within the LCARS system is a C-based OOP language we have developed at LybreDyne called LybreC.

At the moment, parts of this interface are VERRY linux-centric, however, if anyone is interested, I would be wulling to sent a tgz they can use to run it.

I am working on a boot-cd.

More to come...

After a major hiatus, I have continued work on this project.

I have also re-written the display layer.
By using VNC, I can make the test version available for all to see.

Using a VNC client, anyone can look at the system by visiting lcars.lybredyne.net:0

Keep in mind, this system is in development, and not quite ready fo production.
