Finally saw Hulk Vs...wow.

I finally got a chance a couple nights ago to see Hulk Vs. Woverine and Hulk Vs. Thor. Both segments were outstanding and as I understand it the Wolverine one was a prequel of sorts to Wolverine and the X-Men as their is a follow up episode coming. I loved the usuage of Weapon X and Team X in this film. This is how X-Men Origins: Wolverine should have handled the origin sequences and Deadpool. We also would have got a proper Deadpool if they'd gone in this direction. The Thor segment was awesome...love Norse mythology even though I'm somewhat a novice in terms of understanding all the Gods and their relationships. Asgard looked amazing...Loki was awesome. Hated the portrayal of Bruce Banner in both films though...ugh.

Did you keep watching after the credits finished rolling?

Hulk vs. Wolverine was a nine, then the rider on the backend made it an 11.

I couldn't stand Hulk vs. Thor.

The followup episode aired months ago, about the time the DVD first came out. I'm not sure if it's exactly in the same continuity, though the voices are the same and I gather it's fairly close.

I haven't seen Hulk vs., since what I've heard about it suggests it's just a lot of fighting and machismo and testosterone, not really my cup of tea.

I'm a Thor fan, but the Wolverine segment was so much better. Deadpool was funny. What I liked best about it was that Wolverine finally got to kick some ass. No more robots and doors only rule. He gets to shed some blood. Banner is an annoying whiney little bitch. He's pretty much the same guy from the Avengers movies.

The thing is, pretty much that's what Hulk is all about: el grande slugfest. Who/what sets him off is just window dressing for the big beatdown.

Of the two segments, I think the Thor one edges out the Wolverine one. It had more plot behind it, and a significant (indeed pivotal) part for Banner himself to play (won't specify in case there's still people who haven't seen it). The characterizations of the other Asgardians was a real treat too.

On a related note, it sucks that the next Animated feature (Thor) is being held for '11 to coincide with the film...:(

Deadpool totally makes the first film.

"Strike a pose!"

"Hey, Wolverine. I shot you! In the ass!"

The second one was better though because it had an actual story to it.

HULK VS was definitely the best Marvel toon-flick yet. The Thor one was great... but the Wolverine one was incredible! It barely even had the Hulk in it and it starred Wolverine and Deadpool in all his hilarious glory. So sweet.

Deadpool was bang on. As far as I know after doing some reading Hulk Vs Wolverine is indeed a prequel and takes place within the Wolverine and the X-Men continuity. Again I'm leaning towards Hulk Vs Thor as being the better of the two, I just love all the Weapon X stuff. They even used the HELMET from the famous Barry Windsor Smith graphic novel and showed what it was used for! Also liked the cameo of baby Laura (X-23) and the Weapon Plus Program. Omega Red was cool and I enjoyed his banter with Wade. Sabertooth was awesome. Professor Cornelius was creepy, Deathstrike was annoying, and again didn't like the portrayal of Banner as another poster stated he was much like his Ultimates (Ultimate Avengers movie) portrayal. That Banner annoys me.

I threw the Hulk vs. Thor episode on just last night and watched it before I fell asleep. The musical score just amazes me every time I see (hear?) the episode. I don't know what it is, but it's just so full and epic.

And Loki's portrayal is just top notch.

And yes. Watching Hulk beat the Asgardians is fun, too.

I agree that the score for Hulk Vs Thor was amazing...especially at the start of the segment. Loki was the best part of the film and I could have sworn that it was David Warner voicing him, turned out not to be him oh well.
