Finale Predictions *SPOILERS MASSIVE ONES*

USS KG5

So, here we are past Dark Water, and we now know

SPOILERS MASSIVE ONES BE WARNED

...

Missy is a female regeneration of the Master! Also that she has been harvesting the minds of the dead so she can use them to repopulate the bodies that have been cyber converted.

But next week's hour long episode will bring very much more, so for respect's sake, shout out your predictions below.

I'll get things started..

The episode will feature a tearful farewell between Clara and cyber-Danny, who will sacrifice himself to stop Missy. During this conversation, she will reveal she is three months pregnant.

Your turn...

We'll see some previous Who characters as Cybermen (most likely they'll find a way to tell us its them, without having to utilize the actors). For example, a Harriet Jones Cyberman.

- The Brigadier's daughter and/or Osgood will be among the casualties.

- Whether Danny is saved or not (and whether Clara is pregnant or not), the Doctor will choose to leave Clara permanently on Earth at episode's end. She's just too much of a loose cannon now, and the Doctor is partly to blame. He's not angry, he doesn't hate her, but for both their sakes he can't have her as his Companion anymore.

- The chalk equations (to free Gallifrey) will come into play.

Where are Amy and Rory? Missy has been collecting Minds/Bodies for a long time. Are Amy and Rory trapped in the Nethersphere? Are they now Cybermen? Will we get a cameo or at least an acknowledgement of the possibility of it?

Surely now that we have mind-copying technology and body reuse technology, it is time to take River out of the library and put her in Tasha Lem's dead body? ;)

(Speaking of predictions that won't happen... :p )

I wanna know what Dr Skarosa is meant to represent - after all, who were the last people to use the dead for a cybernetic army? Wonder if we'll get a Dalek presence, in other words. Revenge for Doomsday.

The Doctor will likely find a way to save most people from the Nethersphere, though Danny will end up permanently dead, a tragic ending which will lead Clara to put an end to her TARDIS travels.

Missy will be defeated and believed killed, but we'll see some indication she might have survived after all.

A cliffhanger setting up for the Christmas special would be nice. Hey, I liked those random endings for the RTD finales that directly led to the Christmas special, and with this finale only airing a little over a month prior, it's the perfect opportunity.

Agreed, Danny will stay dead (after some shenangans) and Clara will stay home to protect her unborn child. She'll have her reason to stay and protect what's in front of her that Danny was talking about in the Forest story.

Before being permanently dead, Danny will be converted to a Cybermen but sacrifice himself and thereby changing the Doctor's view of soldiers. In that process, he becomes truly dead.

Mr Awe

I'd like to see Missy escape in a TARDIS and know she's out there somewhere.

I know "dead" rarely ever means "dead", but try something different this time.

Oh dear lords, I just had a bad thought. The soul of the young boy Danny killed gets downloaded into the unborn baby of Clara and Danny. Allowing Danny to atone for killng the boy by giving him new life...

...goddess, I hope I'm wrong.

I hope so to, that would be horrific.

More likely they are building up to an heroic sacrifice for Danny.

I actually wonder they'll end up downloading everybody's full consciousness into the Cybermen, essentially defeating them by turning them into self-aware individuals, who just happen to be stuck in armour for the rest of their lives.

With all the downloaded Cybermen, it makes a lot of sense for Danny to become one of them, then end up saving the day by sacrificing himself. I'm hooping that The Master doesn't "die", and just escapes. It would be interesting to see this incarnation in other stories.

That would be a bold move with ongoing implications. Well, unless it's swept under the carpet. However, it sounds like most of the people who arrived would have already either agreed to have their emotions deleted, and if not, would've been deleted entirely.

I'm assuming that only those with deleted emotions are awaiting to be downloaded. We'll find out next Saturday.

But, a cool idea if there was a restore feature! Although, horrifying for those suddenly being downloaded into a cyber body. That was touched on in the Pete's world 2 parter.

Mr Awe

Also, if Clara isn't about to "surprise" us by being up the duff with Danny's sprog, I'll be pretty fucking amazed.

^ I'm guessing that'll be the reason she stops travelling with the Doctor. And, harkens back to the speech Danny made to Clara in the Forest story.

- Danny dies

- Clara is revealed to be pregnant so stops travelling with the Doctor

- Missy survives in this form to return for another day

- Nethersphere destroyed

- Master/Missy explains escape from Time-Lock & opens up new angle for Time Lords return next season
