Ho-Ho-Horta!

The holidays were in the cards, and BorgMan said, "Let's put the cards in the holidays, too!" A Ferengi named Egg-Nog agreed, "I want to see some moving stationery!" So with Morn in his kerchief, and Kai in her cap, our contestants lined up for an artistic lap.

Now you can vote for the card you desire, to post on your wall as you dream by the fire.

Voted. Hope my choice wins this time, unlike the choice I made last month

That was a very easy choice for sure! Better start thinking of the next contest, you-know-who ;-)

Clever work all around.

I have to admit, as someone who doesn't actually celebrate holidays, I always am a little turned off by the holiday themed art challenges. So I really loved how non-specific CYFA's entry was. Plus any time someone actually makes a physical artifact rather than just a computer rendering I'm a lot more impressed.

If anyone ever sent me a card with a cutout silhouette of Mount Selaya, I'd keep it forever. Well done!

Wow! Thanks for all the votes and nice comments. I never would have imagined a few pieces of glitter covered cardboard could be so popular - especially as I'm always a little bit (and sometimes a lot) in awe of those of you who can produce such amazing computer generated art. It's like magic to someone like me who finds Paint perplexing!

I have a few ideas for the next art challenge, but before I decide, is it going to be another end-of-month deadline, or extended because of Christmas etc? Personally, I like the sense of panic that an end-of-month deadline brings!

End of the month it is then. I've put up December's challenge which was inspired by the coming New Year, Calvin and Hobbes, and something found on the beach... :borg:;)

Thanks, Ptrope! And thanks for stickying (if that's the right terminology?) the December challenge thread :)
