Undoubtedly, this is what Starscape had in mind when he challenged the forum to depict "beauty" for this month's challenge - that we would find beauty in those things where we might not normally look for it, and it appears that is the very thing he brought out of us .

So, take a gander and vote - it's a beautiful thing!

My money's on Klaus as well. While the art is exceptional as always, his concept really clicked for me.

Klaus, Klaus, he's our man ... ;)

Really, a beautiful, stark, unique image of Starship Earth; I don't think I've ever seen one where the planet looked as if it were black and white, and it's an interesting perspective. And it gets my vote :bolian:.

Well done, also, Starscape and WillsBabe; two very dissimilar approaches to the concept, and yet both of them very appropriate. Huzzah!

narrowly over the Grand Poohbah... I was about to click his and Deanna just wouldn't let me!

ty for the votes and kind words, yikes!

Thanks for the votes, everyone who voted for me. :)

This month Klaus's stunning piece gets my vote.

An exceptional set of entries this months, thanks to everyone who entered!!! :bolian:

Now, I wonder who'll be setting next month's challenge. ;)

Well, since the end of the poll is well past, and we don't seem to have any hanging chads or a near-tie, demanding a recount, it appears that Klaus's entry was beautiful to the eyes of the most beholders. Congratulations, Klaus! Well done, you beautiful thing, you! :D

As you well know, you get to end 2007 by challenging your fellow members, artists and non-artists, with the task of your choice - we know from experience that yours will be a good one, indeed.

Kudos, as well, to the rest of the entrants - everyone had a great entry, and a unique vision of beauty, as it should be! Good to see a relatively new face among those entries, too, WillsBabe, and we hope to see more of you in the months to come. Thanks to Starscape for the challenge; clearly, it touched us on many levels :bolian:.
