And some things are better than others ;). That was what madness DF "Wild Thing" Scott and Klaus proposed for the March Challenge: "Design an item either depicting (as a drawing or rendering) or representing (as a real 3D object you can hold in your hand) a prop or other collectible item that you imagine yourself ... that you would redesign and/or improve from any existing Trek ... " and which one might expect to find at something like the Christies Star Trek Memorabilia auction.

Talkin' bout things ...

So now it's time for you to do your thing and vote for the imagination of your candidates' 'things' - prop them up, so to speak. In 2 days, the winner will challenge us to The Next Big Thing. :)

Naw, I voted for you, Klaus. I hate voting for myself. I actually really like your presentation of the glove, and I love the Marvel comics reference!

More difficult then you might think Klaus. Both the backstory and the mesh you created are good, and I really like it!

But the model of the ship is just a bit cooler to me personally.

...to be fair, I didn't make the mesh lol. It's from a DAZ powered suit figure, I just retextured it. Thanks for the kind words, though. The backstory was fun. :D

Poll is closed! Dang.... Final results: 17-01.... hmmmm...

Thanks for the votes, everybody! This was a very fun project!

Normally I hate winning these things as I don't enjoy dreaming up new themes for the following month, but this time I do have an idea...but I want to think it over to be sure... So I guess I'll try to have it up after work tomorrow... about 6:00pm Pacific.

Thanks again to everybody! But especially to Klaus, for also competing, and to him and DFScott for coming up with such a cool challenge.

Congratulations, Albertese! Great work on the model! (Maybe you can even get someone to really buy it;))
