Happy Gnu Year! (hey, that could be an alien's holiday, right? )

This month, our November winner, Klaus (can we call you Santa?) took to the spirit of the season and challenged us to show the spirit of the season throughout the galaxy. And once again, a surprising variety of approaches emerged.

I could have voted for any of them this month, B.J.'s and Klaus's are especially very good but in the end I decided to vote for Saxarocks - a fun twist on the "I'm a Doctor not a..." line and well drawn too.

Indeed, but I wonder if what the illustration really depicts is Kirk, Spock and McCoy hot on the trail of my namesake - which just so happens to be visible in orbit! - as it prepares to infect yet another world.
