Final cover for Fallen Gods.

Glad they put the Titan in the cover.

I, too, hope eventually a cover is made with the crew assembled for a photo op.

I still want a damn Christine Vale image somewhere. I think she's probably one of the longest running, and most major characters to still not have an official image. She first appeared in the first SCE novella 12 years ago.

I guarantee that if they gave us an image they'd get her hair wrong for the book it's on. ;)

^That's true. I remember Peter David saying the depiction of Zak Kebron on the book covers and "Double Time" comic were inaccurate to him. He said the IDW comic was the first and only time the appearance was accurate.

Likewise, look at how many different ways Calhoun has been depicted.

At least we have an image of Lavena!

PAD told me he didn't agree with Kebron's depiction in Double Time. I don't know his thoughts on the other characters in that comic.

It has to positively impact sales, doesn't it, to have the TV show people on the covers? I know there was a big thing about how Picard being on a cover made a big difference, so they put Picard on like ALL the TNG covers for a really long time. I bet if I was trying to sell a spinoff series with a lot of weird, hard-to-explain aliens, I'd throw Riker on the cover every book myself.

Actually, PAD said that the internal art in the YA "Worf" novels, and the Pocket covers, always got Kebron wrong - because he is not supposed to have a visible neck - but that the artist on "Double Time" finally got it correct. ie. PAD considers the WildStorm images to be "definitive".

But, yes, he was also happy with the IDW comic depictions.

That's not what he told me, and others, when that comic oneshot came out. He worked with the WildStorm artist to make sure that Kebron "had no neck". Seems to me that IDW's artist then followed that lead for their mini-series.

And Spock and Picard on lots of novels they were barely in, such as the introductory "New Frontier" novels.
