Female Condom Unveiled For World Cup

I was at a concert and we were in the pit and some of the young women were on guys shoulders and lifting their tops and exposing their breasts and some guys would see them and try to reach up and touch them...which was awful. Some young women would crowd surf and guys would just try to touch them in places like crotch and chest...while they were on their backs crowd surfing...did they ask for it??? No. Guys could crowd surf with out being molested...why on earth couldn't the girls???

I am not going back on my statement even if you guys think it is disgusting
Woman do get them selves into trouble in the way they dress.
Some guys wouldnt take advanage while other will.
Well some men will take the NO answer from the woman but others will not.
like l said some women would have come across this.
A woman has every right to look pretty and look nice but not to the extent to looking near naked.
That is just asking for trouble.

I've skipped everything after the first page, so I apologize if this has been asked and answered already. What keeps the rapist from pulling it out before the final act of his assault? It's really just giving him 3 things to get out of the way before finishing his rape instead of two.

Okay Bears Discover Fire.
There are some women who give the wrong impression on the way they act. and dress
I am not saying all women do this.
I am surprised that some of you have not come across women who do this type of thing.
They are out there.

Why are you 'suprised' that we haven't come across women who supposedly ask to be raped? We haven't come across them because there is NO SUCH THING. There is no 'wrong impression' that translates into "overpower me and force your penis up my orifices, I'm asking for it."

To claim otherwise is to cast positive aspirations on rapists they absolutely do not deserve, and burden women with the actions of their rapists.

The crime of rape, any kind of violence outside of defense of self or others, is 100% on the assailant and no one else. I only wish your inability to grasp this simple concept could shock me, and was foreign to me. In a way, I hope you never do understand, because perhaps it takes becoming a victim of a violent, nonconsentual act and surviving daily with its fallout to truly comprehend the appalling consequence of your line of thought.

Do you agree that girls should act like this

Besides, if a woman literally said "rape me." that would make it consensual. You can't have a woman "asking" to be raped. It's kind of impossible under the definition of the word.

Miss Chicken:

I can't imagine what you have been thru. You have my deepest sympathies and understanding. Also, I never suggested that you shouldn't talk about what happened to you. In fact, I encourage it. Granted, going back to your support group would be more beneficial than here on this forum. But know that you are more than welcome by me and others to do so here. Furthermore, if you feel alone about your pain, please realize you have my utmost sympathy to what had happened to you. And if you ever needed to talk about it (still). Please know that you do have my support.

What my beef was in the original post is talking about the rape of children in any detail on a public forum.

SOV and LOB:

Sure, you can talk about the rape of children and how wrong it is. But using the right words is key. At least when referring to children. You guys may disagree on this topic. Saying I need to see the gory details of child rape in order to get the point (or get burned up) that it exists within our society and needs to be stopped. I don't agree with that assessment. You don't have to show me a 9/11 movie to get me angered or patriotic about what had happened at 9/11. Just mentioning the word 9/11 to me is enough. Not that I would have any objections about 9/11 discussions. I just don't think the topic of children (NOT ADULTS) involving rape should be talked about IN ANY DETAIL OR USING COLORFUL WORDS. But I am not against that actual discussion of constructive discussions (WITH THE RIGHT LANGUAGE AND CONTENT USED) involving what has happened to children. It is horrible and it needs to be stopped. But children are innocent and their traumatic incidents shouldn't be splattered across forums in any specific detail or with the use of colorful language because they are innocent. That is MY OPINION. If you don't agree with it. That is your right. But to tell me that I am wrong is your opinion, too. And I am not going to say that you are wrong for saying so. It is simply your opinion. As is mine.

You agree men should act like that.

You ask while completely ignoring the point of the post, which concerns the NONCONSENTUAL groping by the men in the crowd.

I don't even have to ask, your own logic leads you to agree that such behavior is appropriate punishment for women whom you deem deserve it by your own arbitrary standard.

No one deserves rape. No one deserves assault. No one deserves another person's hands on their body without their consent.

No. One.

If someone rapes a stripper, they still go to prison. Who could possible be "asking for it" more than a stripper? There is no behavior that justifies knowingly having non-consensual sex with someone. None.

The exposing breast and all is a bit tacky but not an invite to being groped...the guys have to go out their way to run up and reach up to grope...not only are these guy super creepy but just plain stupid.
Crowd surfing is fairly innocent...if someone is on their back the only part someone has to touch is the back and maybe arms or legs...not reach around and grope every part they can get their hands on.

I was not saying that.
I love the way you guys like to twist things around.
it is abit of a game to you isnt it.

I am not saying they are asking to be raped but it doesnt help the sitation when you are dreesed in a way where your bum is nearly showing and your boobs are hanging out of the dress.

it will give men ideas.sometimes

You're on quite a roll; telling people they can't talk about the details of rape, and now saying the way a woman dresses is partially to blame for her being raped. You stay classy.

Dude, I stopped responding to you two pages ago, before you even started in on the "move on" and "change the subject" posts, which is hilarious since you were the one who started the tangent. Are you still carrying on some imaginary conversation with me?

No one is twisting anything. You stated that women were asking for it by the way they dress and act. Don't agree?

...
Alot of women do get themselves into trouble and sometimes they do ask for it in the way they act.
...

There it is. You said it. No one had to twist anything.
You also do men a grave disservice by essentially saying we can't control ourselves.

Your statement falls well in line with the ideology espoused by Islamic extremists who force women to be completely covered out in public, lest they "inflame men's passions and cause them to act on their lust".

Some women do provoke unwanted advances and comments/catcalls but it's not the same thing as saying they provoke a rape. The two are not the same. A woman has no right to complain she is oggled and leered at if she's wearing clothing that invites it. That doesn't make it acceptable for anyone to touch, let alone rape them.

A textbook example of number 3 on the list of internet argument techniques.

Any man is capable of keeping his dick in his pants. Just because a woman is showing her breasts, or is naked, or is pole dancing or any other behaviour it doesn't alter the fact that the men are quite capable of controlling their sexual urges so that they don't rape scantily dressed women or women who are acting in a 'sleasy' way.

I twisted nothing. There's nothing arguable to even infer from your words; you explicitly state, multiple times in this thread, your belief that women encourage and deserve rape.

Someone's playing a game in this thread, but it ain't me.

I'd like to touch on the idea of a woman "asking for it" by dressing "slutty." Now, I do agree that in our society women who dress scantily are looked upon as being easy to have sex with. However, being naked really is our natural state. Just because we see some breasts does not automatically mean it's time for some raping. A woman could be prancing through the streets naked while masturbating but that still doesn't mean you can go up to her and screw her on the spot.

The way people dress is a way that they express yourself. Just because you don't like it doesn't mean it's okay for them to be raped.
