I would say most domestic animals are empathic towards their people. Cats will often sleep on the beds of sick kids when they normally don't.

Anybody remember this and have it handy? It was a website (maybe a YouTube video, but I seem to recall a website with a separate page for each image) that had photos where cats were to well hidden/camouflaged into the setting that you had to look hard in each photo to find the cat -- if you found it at all.

I probably saw it in this thread, but there are 439 pages, so...
