Hi all! I'm happy to report that Buddy is doing MUCH better! He's gained weight, is eating some food on his own, drinking water on his own, and mostly acting like his whiny self. 
His liver enzymes are *almost* normal again. I'm to return to the office next week on Mondays and Thursdays (BOO!), so we're trying more food, but 3 times a day instead of 4. It seems to be working.
I'm bloody exhausted.
