Since gods and deities in Star Trek are depicted as extremely powerful aliens or entities, the situation here is that the apocalypse as prophesized by the Book of Revelation happens to Earth. Two interdimensional races that were worshipped by early humanity as Angels and Demons from christian mythology emerge in this plane of existence and fight their destructive End War on Earth. Destroying everything on Earth and slaughtering lots and lots of Humans for absolutely no reason (their souls are valuable to these two races). The problem here is that these two races are unaware of the Federation's existence and how owerful Humanity has become in their absence.
So how would the Federation handle the biblical apocalypse and what would they do if the apocalypse starts spreading, each planet becoing a new battleground for the "Angels" and the "Demons". Like, what would they do if Judgement day reaches vulcan and the two races start slaughtering the Vulcans for their souls?
